A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab

Well. I had so many feelings.
This book was fantastic. A completely resplendent ending to the series. There was heartbreak (I cried at least 6 separate times), and shock, and laughter, and everything was wrapped up beautifully.
An excerpt from the note I wrote in my phone when I finished part 11:
Literally, no one has made me cry this many times in this quick succession before.
Two characters I love, I assume one will die because thatā€™s how it works. Both have a desire for the future and do something silly and sweet, so I know someone is about to die. Someone says a line that is screaming to the reader ā€œI SHALL DIE THIS CHAPTERā€ then they die. This was very sad but I was ready for it. But then for good measure, she kills the other one too. I was not ready.
Then we go to our other group and she pulls BASICALLY THE SAME SHIT. So I stopped reading to rage to the internet and shall go back to reading.
I think I have cried like five times I can remember. Four pretty hard. Not Fikry hard, but a lot.

So I loved the book. I am excited to read more of her work. I have never read her YA, but am pretty jazzed about This Savage Song, so Iā€™ll probably start there.Ā

I gave this book 5 stars on GoodreadsĀ and read it from January 19th to the 21st, 2018.Ā
