Between the World and Me by Ta-Nehisi Coats

This is a book you should read.
This book is a black man talking to his black son, talking about black bodies and the specific experiences that surround them. It is a conversation that everyone should be a third party to, listening to this conversation is important and interesting and heartbreaking. And seems like it is such an utterly common conversation for black people to have. I have not quite worked out the words for how I should react to this book. I am sure I will read this book again, I am sure I will reference this book many times, I am sure I will be reading everything by Ta-Nehisi Coats along with quite a few books he has recommended. I loved his writing style.

I gave this book 5 stars on Goodreads and read this book from February 6th to the 11th, 2018.
