Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

September 2018 reread:

Still, love this book. Was still full of anxiety and cried. Still completely love the characters. Still, want to jump into book two right the fuck now. Also, I cannot believe I haven’t read a solo Jay Kristoff book yet. I need to jump on that.
I love reading this series, and this reread was exactly what I needed at the moment.

Though on this reread I listened to the audiobook because I have heard from EVERYBODY that it is amazing. And it is really really well done. If you are deciding between book and audiobook I would still recommend book, it has so much stuff that just can’t be made audio. Not enough to make the audiobook person miss stuff, it is just richer in the book I think. But if it is audiobook or not at all, then duh audiobook. Also, the audiobook (or the book book) is great if you want to revisit. Switch it up, this format is really the most fun format and jumping to different interpretations of it is fun.

I gave this book 5 stars on Goodreads and finished this reread on September 26th, 2018.
