When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon
I can’tttttttttttt. This book was so sugary sweet. And we all know I love sugar. Dimple and Rishi’s story was so cute. My bones could not handle the sweet. Rishi is probably the most perfect book boy. And Dimple is exactly the bad ass smart witty girl that I love. AND THEY BOTH HAVE FLAWS. So clearly this book was great. I did find a few tiny bits of the plot we’re reaching. But the story as a whole totally overshadows that. I loved the way families were important in this book. Even though a majority of the book takes place away from their parent’s houses it was still clear that they had an important part in their lives. YA does not do this enough. And the parents were awesome. We spent way more time with Dimples parents so I love them the most but Rishi’s brother was broody and awesome. I cried. I laughed. I melted into a puddle. So I loved this book. I am trying to read as much adorable as possible for February and I’m so happy I had this book.
I gave this book 5 stars on Goodreads and read it on February 11th, 2018.
