Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Saenz
This book was so beautiful. I do not know how I had it in my possession for so long before I read it and I am so glad I read this book. It was an amazing book. It did not ignore anything, it had family, friendship, love, culture, sexuality, drugs, violence, and war and it dealt with all of those themes beautifully. I am in love with this book. I am in a blissed out state of mind because this book was so good. Also it was won ALL THE AWARDS. Well four of them.
I think this book is also going to be a favorite, I thought The Perks of Being a Wallflower would overshadow this book in my mind because I picked it up right after but this book was so good that that didn’t matter. I can say that I have started and then out down two books that I could not read because they were not living up to this books standard.
This book makes you want to love the world more fully.
