From Here to Eternity: Traveling the World to Find the Good Death by Caitlin Doughty

I am very into Caitlin Doughty.
She is smart and funny and really makes you look at culture and your own interactions with death in a very nuanced and healthy way. Also again she is funny.
This book explored various death customs from different places around the world. We were taken through so many different ways to handle corpses in a way that actively encouraged a healthy outlook on it.
Also, the illustrations were amazing. They very much make the book even more immersive. I listened to the book on audio but frequently picked up my physical copy to flip through and see the images.
I am pretty sure she is contracted to do one more book at least and I cannot wait to see how she engages us with death in the future. Or just more about her life. She’s so god damned cool.

I gave this book 5 stars on Goodreads and read it on March 2nd, 2018. It is July so I am clearly behind.
