Nice Try, Jane Sinner by Lianne Oelke

Nice Try, Jane Sinner by Lianne Oelke

First off: With this book, I completed my much too short (for me, not an indictment of others) reading challenge. Woop!

Now the book! I really really liked this book! I loved Jane Sinner. She is snarky and angsty and emotionally constipated but she is also just so endearing. She felt very real. The journal entries really made Jane breath on the page. Though they also remove you a little from everyone else and kind of keep you emotionally distant at times. But Jane does not know how to be emotionally available so it might have actually have been brilliant writing and I should give this book five stars. I might if I’m still mulling this over in a few days. I will 100% recommend this book to people.
This book was also so funny. Jane is so snarky and I love that in a Canadian. And a human. And has a very big heart, by the end of this book I was so proud of this made up girl.

I gave this book 4 stars on Goodreads and read it on May 11th, 2018. It is currently August so I am posting a bit late.
