This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab

I’m not sure if I’m feeling five stars or four at the moment. But I really enjoyed this book. Schwab writes in a way that completely captivates the reader, she weaves a plot that I can’t help but love deeply, and her character building is so strong.
Her pitch of sin city plus Romeo and Juliet minus romance plus monsters is a perfect distillation. And it was a kick-ass story. I read it mostly on two plane rides plus about two hours at home post travel. Reading the terror and anxiety others are dealing with makes turbulence much less awful for some reason.
This is jumbled and disjointed. So I will hopefully come back and fill it out to make this make sense.

I gave this book 5 stars on Goodreads (I was clearly feeling five stars by this point) and read it on May 20th, 2018. It is AUGUST so I am behind.
