Ready Player One by Ernest Cline

Still, love this book! The ending especially. On this read, I did find some of the beginning info-dumpy and a little hard to get through but once we hit plot I was swept away. I love a good adventure story. And this is a kick-ass adventure story. There were also a few gender/trans related things I did not gel with this read through.
Aside from those two things I really like this book. The characters are funny and witty and sharp. The more massive the nerd the more badass the person, which is so much fun. And irl the most interesting people to talk to are the people who are deeply passionate about a thing they really want to share. And this is a book full of those people.
Hope the movie gives me happy feels too.

I gave this book 5 stars on Goodreads and read it on March 8th, 2018. It is July so I am clearly behind.
