The Scorch Trials by James Dashner
I had the same problems with this book that I had with the first one, except they were worse because its the second book and still not much is answered. I understand keeping the suspense but not making people rage quit your books is important too. I did not rage quit thought I did consider doing so many times. The other thing that is a little bothersome is the pacing. Like 50 pages would fly by then 50 pages would be painful to get though.
Even with these problems I will still finish the series, I need to know what’s happening with Thomas and his crew. The characters are super interesting in this book. Also I think I book outside a controlled environment would be cool, I did enjoy the world building parts of this book and would love more of that in the future.
