Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs
This is a weird one to rate for me. Mostly because I finished Hollow City in January of 2014. So this series was not super fresh in my mind.
That being said I still found the characters interesting and wanted to know how the plot was going to resolve itself. I got genuinely nervous about the fate of the characters (especially the ānormalā bit at the end) and this was the only book that managed to scare me at all.
This did get me pretty excited for Map of Days. I know a lot of people donāt love that authors are continuing āfinishedā series or adding books to worlds whose first series closed. But if you created a whole separate reality and you are the author and still find that world interesting then I am probably going to be interested too.
Again, the characters in this book are so well written. And I love a YA where the teens say āoh shit I really need an adult todayā. Thatās refreshing.
I gave this book 4 stars on Goodreads and finished it on July 11th, 2018.
