City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare

I loved this reread! I really enjoyed this book. I had forgotten a lot of what happened during it, and while I was reading was filled with a screaming voice saying “READ FASTER WE MUST KNOW WHAT HAPPENS”. So I flew through it.
These books just hit me in the perfect spot that demands I turn pages and keep reading the rest of the Shadowhunter novels. I am pretty sure I will be rereading Infernal Devices after having finished this series reread. Cassandra Clare is absolutely a genius for making novels that are impossible to put down.
I feel repetitive saying what I enjoyed about these books, the plot once again totally consumed me but of course, the thing I really love are the characters. I love the way they love each other, their interworkings, how they interact, the ones that make bad decisions while you scream STOP at your books, and the ones that just make you smile every time it’s their POV. It’s so much fun.

I gave this book 4 stars on Goodreads and finished this reread on August 12th, 2018.
