The Staff of Serapis by Rick Riordan- This was an awesome novella! It complemented the other Kane Chronicles/Percy Jackson crossover novella well and it was entertaining in its own right! I loved seeing Sadie and Annabeth interact with each other! I hope there are more (maybe longer? A whole book?) crossovers because these are adorable!
In Time by Alexandra Bracken- This was not an adorable novella, it was awesome and amazing and it just hits you right in the feels. This was amazing (as all things Alexandra Bracken tend to be) and it made me immediately jump into Never Fade! I loved this novella so much!
Life Before Legend by Marie Lu- I liked this one a lot too! It gave you a nice short picture of June and Day before they really grew into themselves and showed why they had certain personality traits. I also enjoyed more Metias!
I was not sure if I should include them as a book in my 50 book challenge or not, they both took less than an hour (but so has another book this year) and neither exceed 100 pages but I counted them because I am going to exceed 50 anyways so it doesn’t bother me to just cross the 50th book sooner.
